At Nolan Shaw Athlete Consulting LLC, our mission is to be the bridge in an athlete's career — connecting them to the right resources, the right people, and the right decisions so they can succeed at the highest level their talent allows.

We work closely with both athletes and their families to build a personalized career path backed by real experience. Every resource, recommendation, and conversation we have is intentional — because we've been on the field, in the dugout, and in the recruiting conversations ourselves. We know what it takes, and we're here to make sure you do too.

Our goal is simple: when you leave a conversation with us, you should have no unanswered questions. Not about your next step, your options, or your future.

OUR
APPROACH

No two athletes are the same. That's why we don't offer cookie-cutter programs or generic advice. We take time to understand where you are, where you want to go, and what's standing in the way — then we build a plan around that.

Whether we're helping a 12-year-old select the right travel program, a high schooler build their recruiting profile, or a college player navigate an NIL deal, the process is the same: listen, assess, and execute with clarity. We stay involved from start to finish, adapting as your career evolves.

YOUTH
ATHLETES

The earliest decisions in an athlete's career often have the biggest long-term consequences — and they're the ones most families feel least equipped to make alone. We specialize in helping youth athletes and their parents navigate a landscape filled with competing programs, coaches, and expectations.

We work directly alongside both the athlete and their family to evaluate options, set realistic short and long-term goals, and connect them with the right coaches, training programs, and facilities that match their level, age, and development trajectory. Our role is to cut through the noise and help families make decisions they feel confident in.

HIGH SCHOOL
ATHLETES

High school is where recruiting begins in earnest — and where the gap between prepared and unprepared athletes becomes most visible. We help high school athletes build the profiles, skills, and strategic outreach needed to get noticed by college programs at the right level.

We build comprehensive recruiting profiles that showcase an athlete's academic and athletic credentials. From there, we develop personalized training recommendations, help craft outreach communications to coaching staffs, and walk the athlete and their family through every step of evaluating offers and committing to the right program.

COLLEGE
ATHLETES

College is where athletic careers begin to intersect with business decisions — NIL deals, transfer portal strategy, agent conversations, and the question of whether a professional career is achievable. We help college athletes navigate all of it with clarity and confidence.

We connect players to legitimate professional agents, help evaluate and negotiate NIL opportunities, develop off-season training programs, and assist in building out the profile and exposure needed for a shot at the next level. Whether an athlete is chasing a professional career or making the most of their college years, we ensure they're positioned to maximize every opportunity available to them.

PROFESSIONAL
ATHLETES

Reaching the professional level doesn't mean the hard decisions stop — it means the stakes get higher. Contract negotiations, agent relationships, financial planning, brand management, and career longevity are all variables that require the right guidance at the right time.

We work alongside professional athletes to evaluate contracts, vet and manage agent relationships, build out sponsorship and brand strategies, and coordinate with financial advisors to protect long-term wealth. From the first pro opportunity to post-career transition, we're in your corner every step of the way.
